Q: how does this have the same crossover point in both 4 and 8 ohms?

It doesn't. Misleading xover point. If it's 3500hz at 8 ohm, it's 7000 hz at 4 ohm. Big difference. Seller needs to be honest and provide schematic. I'm going to have to return mine on that basis. Seller care to chime in?

Seller didn't answer correctly. These crossovers are meant for 4 ohm drivers. Or that's what I get from other sellers on the net.

I honestly do not know. I do know that they have been awesome and work exactly like I was hoping

Q: is the bass frequency only bass or midrange?

Bass and mid all the way up to 3,500 if your woofer can produce those higher frequencies . If you don’t want mid in woofer you need a 3 way crossover with a lower crossover point between mid and high . Hope this. Helps , James
