I am writing a review now because I'm finally in need of a new fan and was looking for the same one I'd bought in early 2020. This is it. I have used it many times for my dog, generally while in the car, attached to the metal crate. I used it on a 15 hour drive on low and never had to change the batteries on the trip. I have had to change batteries of course, since I've used it for years. But it did not seem to eat through them. I would buy this again for sure. Easy to turn switch for low or high. Moves a decent amount of air (it's a small fan - about 6" diameter - so don't expect large volumes of air), just right for travel, but I wouldn't rely on it for hot weather outside.

The fan worked at first. The noise is definitely aggravating, but you eventually stop noticing it. I ordered this to help keep my dog cool at night since she seems more comfortable with a fan. It only lasted one night. It needs four C batteries and they were dead by the next day. There is a port for a cord, but it does not come with one. The speed is okay, more on the light side, but it does not cool her kennel well, especially with the cover on. It is definitely small and portable and looks like it is made of decent quality plastic.

This is a great way to keep my German Shepherd cool on a hot day. Easy to use and does not eat up batteries like I thought it would. I typically use this fan once or twice a week when we are out training. I also use a thermal blanket that helps fight off the heat and provide some shade while my dog is in the kennel. My dog seems to enjoy it and has not messed with it while hanging on the door of the kennel. The fan is not noisy and is stable as well while hanging. I have been using this fan for about a month now and have no complaints from it's performance. If you are looking for a reasonably priced portable fan to keep your animals cool, I would definitely recommend giving this fan a try.

This works pretty well with batteries, but burns through them quickly. I actually attached this to the vent of my chicken coop for the hottest summer days. It was not the only fan I used, but it was a nice addition. Batteries lasted 3 days of non stop use. I purchased the recommended power cord and it does not stay connected so it is pretty worthless. I would also like to state, if there is a specific cord that is recommended for this product, why is there never anything on the power cords to help you later determine what they belong to? I have accumulated so many power cords over the years but it is a puzzle to figure out what goes with what. I have good intentions for marking the power cords, I will even make labels. However, sometimes I get them mixed up even before I can attach a label to it.

Have some from years ago and ordered more. Like they way they work. My old ones had optional attachments that you froze and hug on the fan to cool air better. Can't seem to find those anymore

Keeps pups cool during travel

I purchased two and they are useless. Great idea, very poort product. I put this to use on our Catio, but they cats come inside becuase they are so loud and rattle. If I had not tossed the boxes I would have returned these in a week, now I am stuck with two useless items.It should be noted these are not quiet and do not expect to use them in the home. Strange the cats could take the sound as well.
