Great case for the 12.9 if you want good pen holding integration, good stand functionality, moderate protection.
This is my 2nd case for the 2017 IPad Pro 12.9. My first case was an emergency buy, just to protect my unit, till i found something I was comfortable with. The first case did not have a screen cover, but it did hold the pen and I liked that. I ultimately wanted screen protection, as I did not want bag scratches to my display. I notice that when I buy an iPad I usually go through two or three cases and sometimes switch my iPad depending on my activities. The Khomo is my second case and I call it a winner, I’ve stopped looking at cases. The Khomo does great holding the pencil and not being overly complicated releasing the Apple Pencil, when you want to use it. Case fit is spectacular. Access to the lighting charge port is good, some aftermarket lightning plugs will struggle, but ultimately work to get past the opening of the case, which is small, not any fault of Khomo though. Fit and finish are great. The protective flap is a great cover, certainly the magnet could be stronger, but it is more than adequate. Using the flap to stand the iPad up is great. The flap also does well when using the iPad onscreen keyboard, when you want to elevate the screen, vs working completely flat. Cleaning debri off of the exterior of the cover begins with a dry cloth, stains or smudges come off easily with a damp cloth. Marking on the screen is minimal, but you might notice two long streaks along the glass, if you have moist hands. Cut outs for the ports are nice, the speakers resonate well and the camera does great in the space provided. Using the case in tablet mode and capturing a quick on site photograph by folding the flap over works well. This case is not a shockproof case, so one should remember anything less than shockproof means your iPad is protected against scratches and moderate bumps, not falls. I bought the twill black model and it came out of the package looking great and the natural patina it is starting to have from my hand holding and being used daily is great, the case is great after three months of 12hour a day use in the field.

This is the best iPad case I've had yet!!!
This case far exceeded my expectations and couldn't be more happy with it on my 10.5" iPad Pro. I considered the leather sleeve with pencil holder from Apple which looks really nice but not $130 nice. I don't care what kind of leather it's made out of. I instead purchased the Logitech Slim Keyboard Case for the same $130 and love it overall but it's just a bit bulky for every day use. This thing however hits the mark spot on in my opinion. It's extremely affordable, it has a great Apple Pencil holder, and it's a lightweight Smart Cover. The outside finish is very classy and the inside has the usual felt liner to prevent scratches on the screen. It has decent protection the rest of the way around except for the cover hinge side. When folded back it exposes the left side of the iPad but it's pretty much the case(no pun intended) with any type of Smart Cover case. It is a perfect compliment to a great iPad. Well done!

Everything I wanted
I wanted a protective case for my new iPad Pro that also helped me keep in place the pencil. It had to be classy, non intrusive, protective of back and front, leight weight so i could still easily hold my iPad for longer duration. I also don’t like the hard shell plastic that seems cheap. This is everything I wanted and more. It’s almost soft what extremely protective and well fitted. Bought my husband one too. After doing lots of research and ignoring a couple bad reviews we found exactly what we weren’t hoping for.

High quality slim cover with padded interior, fabric surface and Apple Pencil holder
This is a great all in one case of for the iPad Pro.Pro: - Textured fabric surface that feels high quality but still stain resistant - Lined interior while maintaining a slim profile - Integrated pencil holder is non-obstrusiveCon: - Cover is not removable - Not compatible with smart keyboardOverall, I definitely recommend this case if you don't need smart keyboard compatibility.

The perfect case for basic protection and comfort.
This is the Perfect case for basic protection. I looked at a bunch of cases. All of the reviews for the other ones said this one is the best and after looking more closely and using it I totally agree. I was looking for one that was not the transparent shell plastic that is super thin, and this is solid. It's the kind of plastic that has an almost rubbery feel. Plus I love the colors. One other thing: at first glance the amazon listing can make it look like the only option is one with a pencil holder, and this is not true - simply look at the color options for the non pencil versions.

Great case!
I was a looking for a case that is lighted weighted, slim, and can give full protection of my iPad Pro. Besides, it needs to hold the Apple Pencil. This one came into my eye due to its classy texture of the cover, and it turned out that it conforms to all my requirements. I really like it. The side of the back case is rubbery so it gives well protection of the side. The pencil slot holds the Apple Pencil very well. The only downside might it's a little difficult to press the volume and power buttons. Regardless, it's a great case more than expected.

Highly recommended - great value.
For the price, I was expecting something a little flimsy or cheap feeling, but I was pleasantly surprised at the premium feel of this case! It is well constructed and pretty durable. I've been using it for about two months now, and it still looks and feels brand new. This case is a good balance between protection and size. I throw mine into my bag every day, and I don't worry that my iPad will be damaged in my bag. The rubber edges don't add too much bulk, but still provide adequate protection around the edges for every day home or office use. If I had kids, however, I'd probably want something bulkier.Overall, I highly recommend this case!

Great Case for the cost, and fits iPad well
I really like this case. iPad popped right in and seats well. Pencil holder holds the pencil well and is easy enough to remove when needed. The outside material isn't what I was expecting, it isn't "fabricky" as I had suspected, its more of a textured vinyl. Not a bad thing, just different than what I was expecting. Another reviewer complained of the magnets being weak, they are a little weak, but for my purposes they are fine. Four stars for the quality of the case, and another for the value.

Did this fantastic case really only cost £23?
I have always bought premium (aka expensive) cases for my mobile products. Having spent a three figure sum on an Apple Keyboard folio for my iPad Pro last year, I found that I didn’t use the keyboard as much as I had anticipated. So I decided to sell that on eBay and purchase a standard case. I looked at a variety of cases both Apple and other manufacturers but couldn’t make my mind up. So I turned to YouTube and found a review of three cases. The first one was expensive and got an OK review. The second was really cheap and, indeed, it was also nasty. The third one, which was recommended by reviewer was the Khomo case. This is a make I have never heard of and, at that time I had no idea how much it cost. I found the product here on Amazon as was amazed to see the price of £23. I thought for that amount the case couldn’t be much good but I gave it a go anyway. I am totally amazed at the quality of the case. It is excellent and fits my iPad really well. It is champagne quality at a beer price. The Apple Pencil fits into a slot on side side of the case really well and it charges at the same time - many other cases have a slot for the pencil but it’s position doesn’t charge it.I highly recommend this case. It would be good value at twice its price.

I wanted something that is of quality and looks great (but not paying the ridiculous prices for the covers ...
I was skeptical at first due to some of the previous reviews and also knowing myself, I wanted something that is of quality and looks great (but not paying the ridiculous prices for the covers at the Apple store). This KHOMO iPad Pro case did not let me down, it feels like quality and just slim enough (not bulky like some other covers out there). The rubber sides fit and hold the iPad very well, and the velvet underside of the cover and inside backing will protect the screen and back of the iPad. So perfect for someone like me who is paranoid about accidentally dropping/scratching the iPad.The pencil holder held the pencil really well. And about the magnetic flap, it won't stand if the iPad is not in the cover – it needs the weight from the iPad to "hold it down". The magnetic cover also turn the iPad screen on/off like it has promised. I like the smoothness of the cover, but I don't feel that it is "slippery" – it definitely has more grip than the ipad itself. So, all in all, a really good investment and design for the price!

Great case, but why only miserable colours?
We've bought several Khomo cases for iPads and they've worked well. This time around I was looking for another brightly coloured case for my iPad Pro and found that unless I was happy with a rigid case for the back of the iPad (I wasn't) there was hardly any choice to be had for an iPadPro, only dark cases were available for an iPad Pro 2020 with all round rubbery protection. What's the matter with you Khomo (and other manufacturers)? The case offers excellent protection, it won't damage the iPad, it holds the Apple Pencil 2 and permits it to be charged. I like the covering but wish I could have had it in orange or another bright colour. There's one tiny niggle - to open the case the natural thing to do is to put your thumb on the base and lift the front cover upwards, that's not so easy, so the other way to open the cover is to lift it from the edge where the pencil holder is. I wish there was a slight lip at the bottom of the flap so it could be easily opened from that bottom edge.So small niggles, but it's still a great case.

Slightly flexible cover for new style ipadpro with 2nd generation pencil holder
The case is solid yet flexible, the ipadpro slips into place with a little effort. The new style generation 2 Apple pencil sticks magnetically to the ipadcase, but it can easily be knocked off and this case has a section which keeps it in place and also allows it to charge. The holder if flexible so its easy to get the pencil out when out need it. Holding it upside down and giving it a light shake and it does not fall out.The front cover flap sits well on the face of the ipad. its feels like there are some weak magnets to hold it in place as when you turn it upside down, it does move away from the surface but sticks lightly near the pencil. I would prefer if this also had an elastic band around the edge like my MS surface pro which holds it tighter to the screen and is better in my opinon for travelling. The holes are cut to allows sound from the speakers and to connect the charging cable. The power and volume buttons are covered with raised material so require quite a firm press to operate. Not as easy as without the cover especially the volume buttons as they are close to the pen holder. The case folds back into 3 sections and can then be used as a stand for viewing in landscapre mode. Closing the clover locks the ipad as long as you have this turned on in settings. The case is designed for right handed users. Whilst you can rotate the screen I found that the camera was of ten obstructed and the face recognition didn't work. Having to type the pass code or lift the ipad to get it to see you is not as easy as the original style ipad where you could unlock with a finger print on the home button. The Apple supplied USB-C charging cable and others of a high quality nature happily fit into the socket with the case on. Other connectors are some what loose and wont connect with the ipad in the case. Using a dongle to attach an SSD drive to transfer pictures doesnt work in the case, well at least the models I have don't work. The price currently is £20, not excessive like some products, but as I've a similar case for the older slightly smaller original ipad pro which is half the price this is not so competitive.

Almost perfect
So I own an IPad 4 (first Retina display one), that had the best case you could ask for by Apple, it fit perfectly, made with a lovely soft but high quality feeling silicone material, covered all sides of the device and had the great foldable front cover. I can’t remember how much it cost, I probably thought it was overpriced at the time, but these days it would probably look like a bargain thanks to his greedy Apple still are...Moving on, I now own an iPad Pro with the pencil, to my horror I found that Apple not only split up the case to maximise profits (each costing a ludicrous amount of money), but also discontinued the case part of it! Not to mention there’s nowhere to store your pencil that likes to roll off of every flat surface! Here comes this case, while the outside isn’t like the soft silicone, it’s about as close as you could possibly hope for this price range, really puts Apple’s greed to shame. It fits snug, good cutouts, pencil feels safe and fairly easy to take out (could be easier but not complaining). It works alost the same, however there’s two glaring design flaws that stop this from being perfect in my eyes:What made the original Apple case for the old iPad so good, was that all edges of the device were protected, even with the cover open, with this case, seemingly because they used the same mold that was used for the case without the cover (presumably so you could use an official Smart Keyboard or cover) so when you open the cover, the entire left side minus the corners is exposed, and lets be honest, if you’re going to drop this, it will be when the cover is open.To me this would be really easy to fix design wise, it was just a bit of an oversight on their part.My other small problem is that unlike the old iPad case, the case doesn’t have magnets on the back so your cover just flaps about if you don’t hold it down yourself. Also I’d say the buttons are too hard to press, this will probably get easier with time.Besides that, I’d say this case is about the best one you could possibly get at this price point, a must buy!
