This prism is nicely packaged and fun to play with. I love fast prime lenses that are typically large diameter and this prism is quite small for them. The opening in the middle is just enough for the 85mm f1.8 lens. You can still use the edge of the prism for larger lenses. For my liking it just doesn’t have enough sparkle and etching as some antique chaldelier glass to give it 5 stars. I am still giving it a 4 because it’s nice for the price and for smaller lenses you can shoot through the opening in the middle.

Upon opening the box, I found the prism enclosed to be full of fingerprints and also had a large chipped corner. Definitely seemed like it was previously used and resent out to me as it was returned before.

An essential to any photographers gear. An asset for anyone wanting to make unique and quality effects. Great size and design, I carry this with me in my pocket for shoots outdoors. Thanks for finally making a prism that functions and is not cumbersome to work. This was way more durable than I expected, hasn't scratched yet. I am buying another one for my colleague for Christmas.
