Best Trail Runners! Buy 1/2 Size Up.
Having been trail running for over 20 years, I can attest that these are the best trail runners I have ever owned. I purchased these direct from North Face on sale. The traction is flawless in wet or dry conditions. The weight is relatively light at 646 grams for a trail shoe. I was skeptical given these are branded by an outdoor gear company and not a shoe focused company. I waited until I wore these for over 300 miles of trails from granite to sandstone to gravel conditions before making this review. The outer sole and treads still look good and function as new. Another success story for vibram. Only caution here is the toe box is slightly tight, similar to a B or C width in dress shoes. Recommend purchasing 1/2 size larger than what is in the Sizing Chart.I have attached a photo of the shoes after being rinsed from a muddy run.
