More relaxed design - DURABILTY QUESTIONABLE
RION Steed WB - Small - 5'4" 138 lbsQuality of bibs is good. A little less of a tight fit then the Steed RB. Fit is also a little longer. Bib straps are a different style, with these being a little more loose and with mesh fabric rather than straight elastics. Leg grippers work good, and chamois is very comfortable with good stitching attaching it the the shorts. At first, I was a little thrown off by the micro holes along both thighs, but once on a ride it was quite enjoyable to feel the air on the skin that shows through the holes.I think I prefer the STEED-RB model, but these are good for a nice relaxed, easy fit.UPDATE 5.30.2018Fabric that comes into contact with the seat area is already starting to shred....and it's only been about 50 miles with 1 wash for these shorts.I'm really disappointed...back onto the bib search.

Spot on for the money
I am 6'4" and 185lbs ( 193cm/ 84kg) and got the Large Steed-RB style. Love these. First off the Straps are the best I have. I usually have them cutting into my shoulders at my height but not these. just the right stretch to hold but not cut. fits great in the legs with plenty of support. The grip band style is a must for me as I will not do the old elastic sewn in anymore. Pad was good for a short hour ride on a hard road saddle. I do like that the pad comes a little higher up in front to conceal things a little better then spandex alone like some other brands. After trying a number of other Brands ranging from Castelli to Performance to Gore these are a keeper. I will try to update after I do a longer ride.To RION: I would love to see these bibs with the WB Pad. Let me know if that is possible because I have a feeling that could another 5star mix.

5’9” and up use large for bibs
Let me start by saying that I have never had a very expensive pair of bibs before like Castelli or something. These fit right in between Bontrager and Pearl Izumi when it comes to quality. I have a pair of low end Bontragers and let me tell you these are way better than the bontragers.*** Edit July 19.***I ordered a second pair of these bibs, actually I chose a different style, the ones with the red tab at the side, and these are very different from the ones I ordered. In one of the pictures above, you can see the difference in the pads from the first ones and also the old bontrager bibs. The first one with the red pad is bontrager and the second in the middle is the Rion and the third with the gray pad is the last one I ordered also from Rion. The difference in fit is the same, although is a large, the pad feels extremely cheap, It’s like foam from a mattress, I won’t pay attention to that since these are for Indoor riding (Zwift) but these bibs won’t last like the ones they used to sell a year back. Overall, I recommend these bibs but keep in mind that you might need a new pair within a year or so.

Simple, affordable, a little tight
So far so good. I've been looking for a pair of bib shorts that won't break the bank. This is for the Steed RB - Small - 5'4" 138 lbsFeel of material is nice. Doesn't feel like some cheaper shorts or bibs that will soak up any sweat or water and hold it. I expect these to be able to dry out quickly. The fit is tight, but the extra compression is what I'm used to. I really like the bib straps, as they fit nice and snug. The stitching looks very durable on all parts, but a little messy with a few long threads sticking off the end here and there. Chamois pad is nice and firm, with just enough padding and not going overboard with it.I usually buy bibs in the $75-$125 range (if they are on sale), and so far, the quality of this bib feels no different. The stitching connecting the chamois pad to the fabric looks durable, as that is where i was having problems with previous bibs.I ride 150 miles+ per week, so I'll update this review after a few weeks and washes, but as of now I'm very pleased with my purchase. Looking forward to riding more with these and putting a few centuries into them. Go RION Cycling!

The FIT is near perfect!!!
I finally got to a chance to try the RION Cycling Men's bib this morning on my training ride. The size Medium fits PERFECT everywhere. No sausage legs... totally comfortable. Breathable fabric - mesh on sides and back. I like how the suspenders goes over to the side of the chest and not over the nipple area and has a really nice feel too it and no chafing or abrasions. The chamois is the BEST part. I always get that "butt ache" where you gotta stand on the bike to get some relief. Well this morning I pretty much sat the whole time except for a few hills. It was a comfortable ride. At first, it just looks like any other chamois red in color same common shape. But this chamois wasn't like "memory foam" where it goes flat after 20 miles. It was still firm yet kept my butt in place and all the right spots. This is an awesome product. Thank you.
