The other model was for me.
Bags overlaps and is not a perfect fit. Perhaps made in America would improve the sales and product. Good for doing a lot or using dry ice but not good for medium size to small batches with no dry ice so far. Needs agitated as much as a silk screen so I might as well just be using a silk screen since I'm doing all the work. Also the bottom bowl design is flawed. How is anyone supposed to collect anything from a bowl? A 25 micron screen to collect on would make more sense.

Disappointed.
Bought this a couple years ago. Gave everything a good wipe down and loaded it up. When I turned it on, it was pretty noisy, sounded like metallic clatter. Having never run one of these before, I assumed it was normal so I ran it behind a closed door. The bags with tightened draw strings stayed put for a minute or two, but then I noticed they'd loosen and start rotating around the bowl. When this happens, it appears a lot of the vibration is dampened so I tied a slip knot in the draw string to help somewhat. I was unable to find dry ice pellets within 30 miles of my home, so I resorted to stirring often. I ran the sifter for most of the day, checking every 15 minutes or so to tighten the bags and stir the material. Several grams were separated from the original material, although I feel the original material could easily be processed again. Maybe the dry ice helps with efficiency. While I enjoyed the final result, I ultimately felt this was a lot of work and power usage for the results and ended up putting this sifter on my closet shelf for the last two years.Well, I got a wild hair today and thought I'd give this thing another go. Gave it another good wipe down, but was in less of a hurry. I noticed the bolt that goes through and holds the bowl to the machine was askew. The bolt and washer felt very tight with my fingers, but when I turned it on I again heard the loud metallic chatter. Without the bags in the way, I could see that it was the washer vibrating under the bolt. While actively sifting, I used my hands to hold the bowl and simulate a tight connection and the vibration increased dramatically. The gap on one side of the bolt is significant and could only be accomplished via cross threading during manufacture. The bolt head is smooth, so I can't fix the problem. No warranty on the product and it's been 2 years anyway.I can see this thing having a lot of potential, but I'm kicking myself for not paying closer attention when I first made the purchase. I got back on here hoping the sifter might be cheaper now, but the price has actually increased by 20%.--Update--Thought I'd run this thing anyway. Produced literally nothing after 30 minutes of run time. Grabbed a pair of vice grips and slowly backed the bolt out. It was much longer and much looser than I expected. Definitely not cross threaded, but the blue bowl that holds the stainless steel bowl was broken (See attached picture). This explains the horrible production rate. I can't say if it left the factory this way or if it happened in transit, but I don't recall the box being damaged. Wish I had paid closer attention.
