This DVD will push you to where you need to ...
This DVD will push you to where you need to be by spring. It's not scenic. It is the closest thing to being in a spin class while doing it at home. I would have given it five stars if the music background would be of the type that would help push you just a little more.

This workout lives up to it's name
This is a challenging workout that will put you in the pain cave after about 20 minutes or so. It is not boring at all, and the 50 minute workout goes by very quickly. I have a spinning bike and have found the spinervals to be as good as if not better than any spinning class that I have taken. It can be hard to motivate yourself to workout alone, but these DVDs have really helped me. I highly recommend this and all of the spinervals. They also have a "Runervals" series that I will try when I get a treadmill at home.

No BS, effective interval-session dvd that won't waste your time
Over the years, I've bought about a dozen Spinervals dvds. This one is my favorite of all of them. Why? It's a no-nonsense, effective interval session that a) hits all the endurance energy levels in the body and b) doesn't waste time doing it. The most important part, to me, is that it changes up often enough to be interesting. Nothing worse than riding a bike to nowhere and have it be more boring than necessary. No thank you.If you are an experienced, intermediate/advanced-level cyclist and want one rainy-day dvd as a go-to time saver that won't blow your training, this is it. If you are a beginner, probably look elsewhere (like maybe the fitness series of Spinervals) or some other video series.
