really helpful
When i did the Spartan obstacle race a couple of years ago, I really suffered from cramps on my legs. My friend has a couple extra energy gels which I had that helped me recover quickly and complete the race, it was quite effective and kept me hydrated as well. Since it was my first time, the taste wasn't pleasant, but now looking back i see the pack i had was blackcurrent, which isn't my fav flavour.I have now bought a pack of 15 so I can carry these during my trip to the Everest base camp.this pack is value for money and easy to use each of these on the go and of course not to forget it has lots of health benefits too.

A staple supplement for fueling my rides
As somebody with experience in fitness and nutrition who recently took up cycling to compete in a 100km charity ride, it was extremely important to me that I had the right fuel when riding. Science in Sport are well known and established providers of cycling nutrition and were my first choice for fast acting carbohydrates. These gels are a staple in cycling nutrition. Anyone out riding for a prolonged period of time will be using up their muscles glycogen stores and quick digesting carbohydrates are required to help replenish those store. These isotonic gels provide your body with easily digestible carbohydrates to fuel your rides. Personally I'd be using one around every half an hour or when I begin to struggle with low energy. They help to provide a quick amount of energy for your muscles and delay fatigue so you can push on or push harder. With a simple tearable tab they are easy to consume whilst riding using only one hand. The tabs can be torn off with your teeth and the gel squeezed out easily. When finished, I'd recommend placing them inside a bag rather than directly into your jersey pocket; it's usually impossible to get all of the gel out, which leads to some leaking and a sticky mess if left in your pockets. The selection box is quite a nice way of sampling the different flavors. Non of the flavors are disgusting, but they equally aren't that enjoyable either. They taste okay and they are gone in a few seconds anyway.Admittedly they are rather expensive but for the price they are convenient.

Swell for a Gel
Used this for extended running training and helps boost when feeling low. Bit strange texture if you haven’t had one before but the taste helps. Would recommend to anyone new to running long distances

Good Low Sugar Gels But Taste Bland!
Usually when I workout (strength training) ranges from 3-5 hours and I usually need to snack on a protein bar halfway through, so I bought these gels as they're quick, provide the extra energy I need and don't leave a feeling of fullness. The first one I tried was apple but it didn't taste like apple at all, it's very bland with barely any flavour, it's pretty much like eating plain gel. I've only tried one other brand of gels previously(Vita Sports) but they tasted much nicer and had a similar <1g of sugar but lots more flavour.Blackcurrant tasted very odd, really weak flavour and slightly artificial. These were on offer for £5 which was a decent deal especially for trying a brand I've not used before and the flavour range looked great. At £5 for a 'trial' box I don't regret the purchase as they were cheap and still provided the performance I'm looking for, I am disappointed in the flavour though so consuming isn't as enjoyable as I'd hoped.
