Good material, works well but hemmed too short
This is just OK. The canvas material is good and the composition is fairly sturdy -- but you have to be sure to secure the velcro flap very tight, or it will blow right off in a strong wind. The main issue is that it is 4 inches too short. This seems odd since the width and depth dimensions are consistent with a larger-size machine - which would typically stand taller than 28". Mine (Mitsubishi) is a pretty popular model and it is close to 32" high. Most of the other ductless mini-split covers that I'd seen (but didn't buy) were 31.5 or 32" in the "large" size -- but those were either unavailable or not made with appropriate material for withstanding snow, ice. Still, it's functional and better than nothing.

Four Stars
My unit was not a kaussmann but did meet my needs with minor alterations.

There is no documentation provided on the material used to fabricate the product and testing to stand up to changing environmental conditions ( ie ice, rain, snow, temperature range, and wind). I did test it to determine if it is waterproof and it passed the test out of the box. However, the material is light weight and cost more than a heavy duty tarp.

Cover does not go all the way to the bottom which I knew it wouldn't. Fits well otherwise. Will have to see how it holds up to the winter months.

Not Worth The Wait
I searched at least six months for a product like this and just couldn't find anything. The quality is good and they fit well. I love the included pouch for the remote with a bold reminder on it to remove the cover from the unit first. My only concern is how long the Velcro straps will hold up but that's a minor concern.Update: After about 6 months the material dried up and began to tear easily and the covers were just useless. The idea is sound and truly there is a market for this product. If it were made of canvas or Sunbrella material I would definitely reinvest. As it stands don't bother, you'll only regret it in the end.P.S. The Velcro still worked though.
