This stapler is absolutely fabulous!I bought it after spending weeks wrestling with my previous stapler, which seemed incapable of actually pushing a staple through more than three or four pieces of normal A4 paper. Now, stapling even ten sheets together, with exactly the same staples that my old stapler used, is an absolute breeze and I don't have to keep making people jump as I hit the top of the stapler in an attempt to quickly force staples through the paper!Yay!

I often use our normal Stapler to staple together sheets and packs which range from 8 to about 16 pages in thickness. It struggles and you have to press very hard with the full palm on the table, and sometimes the staples become bent or don't go through all the way. Decided to buy a heavy duty stapler that can be carried in a small stationary study bag, and this was exactly what I wanted. Didn't expect much, but reviews seemed positive enough, so I ordered it.When it arrived, I was first taken back by the size, as it was so small and compact! The build quality is among the best plastic Staplers available and Rapesco is a well known stationary brand. I tested it with the first batch of around 15 sheets of A4 paper. Wow. It just stapled them like the paper was tissue or tracing paper. One simple press with less than half the power I needed on the old one and a perfect staple everytime. It also comes with a big amount of staples so that's a bonus. Overall, a fantastic purchase at the given price which was very cheap for a premium heavy duty stapler. It is excellent at the job and can go through a lot of sheets. Hope this review helps anyone looking to purchase, thanks for reading.

As a firm of patent attorneys we regularly print large documents needing stapling. This stapler is supposed to work for up to 50 sheets on the larger staples that are provided with it, but in our experience it was highly unreliable, often leading to crumpled staples. We have had a much more positive experience with: Rapesco 1307 HD-100 Heavy Duty Stapler and would recommend this for individuals or firms wanting to staple large bundles (e.g. > 40 sheets).

Jams almost every time we use it. One staple will crumple in the stapler, then all the rest crunch up behind and you need to get a knife or screwdriver to unblock it. Then when you try to staple something again the same thing happens. So you have to get a tool again to unjam it. And then when you try to use it again it jams.

I read all of the very positive reviews about this ‘less effort’ stapler and thought it sounded ideal. However in my case I found it needed more effort to use than my existing one. It feels like it’s jamming each time I use it. I wanted to return it, however the customer is not allowed to return this product. It’s a shame because I think mine is faulty. Not to worry, you win some, you lose some.
