Although Wahl makes great clippers for consumer use, the little plastic tab that secures the clipper guard in place tends to weaken and break off after some time. Their own branded replacement parts are quite pricey, so I opted to get a generic brand. It works well enough, I saw no discernible dip in performance compared to the original Wahl guards. You may have to exert slightly more pressure to snap on the guides due to the metal part.It wasn't the biggest selling point, but what was a bonus for me was that it had a 1 1/2 size option (3/16 inch or 4.5 mm), a nice sweet spot as I tended to find the "1" size to be too short in trimming and the "2" size not short enough.The packaging is very simple; aside from the Amazon shipping envelope, this arrived double bagged: Ziploc bag (with product label info on it), stored inside another Ziploc bag. Other than that, this was a satisfactory purchase.

I purchased these for my Wahl Seniors, because they did not come with any guards longer than a #1.5, and I didn’t want to shell out another $30 for the Wahl Premium guards (on top of the $140 I paid for the clippers themselves).So I took a chance on these guards, and I am very happy I did! All of the guards fit my Seniors perfectly, and when I compared the Wahl guards that came with my seniors to these, they sound the same too.I compared the #1 guard in this pack with the #1 Wahl Premium that came with my Seniors, and they are VERY similar. These have a *slightly* higher profile, and the plastic on the top of the guard is not as finished as the Wahl’s, but other than that, I didn’t notice any differences.I am not a professional barber, but to me, these are identical to the Wahl Premium guards at half the price. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Wahl Premium guards, these are it.

These fit the cheaper walmart clippers , the model I have is the MC2 that are around 24$ for the clippers a couple years back and these attachments fit perfectly.

These are better than the ones that came with the clipper originally. Sturdy and precise.

Arrived as advertised. Highly recommended. Make sure to measure the cutting head of your clipper 1.8" x 1.5" (if your model is not listed in the description). I have an older model WAHL Precision and these guards fit perfectly. The fact that they are color coded helps assure you are attaching the size you desire. Other miscellaneous suggestions: clean your clippers thoroughly before and after each use. Oil your clippers periodically for maximum performance. Enjoy!

I bought these as a gift for my BF to go with some clippers I got him from Whal awhile back. I was worried about the fit (because I know nothing about it) and the quality-for that same reason. To my surprise they were fantasist fit great and seem to be the most durable clipper heads at home we have ever had. I like that it is a Metal clipping!

Fits my wall clippers perfectly and snuggly . Other brands can get loose and pop off. Not these . These are a 10
