Nice!
These are smaller than I thought but that’s my fault for not reading the sizes. They seem like some nice punches and I’m definitely keeping them.

Clean holes, professional results
I am so glad I chose these over the squeeze type rotational hole maker. I saw some comments about how challenging they can be to use. This was my first time using a belt hike maker and could not be happier with the results. Be prepared to do some tapping with a hammer and make sure you are on a surface you will not damage. I did it in a countertop with a small notebook under it so as not to chip the counter. The most challenging part will be lining up the holes. Making the holes is easy. You will be doing some tapping. But I was also being cautious not to damage the marble countertop. If you are on a nice solid work bench you may be able to just give it two or three good sacks.Place the hole punch on the good side of the belt. Here is a a tip on how zI got the holes lined up:Get several thumb tacks and place them in the holes already there with points facing up. Get a piece of paper and line up the edge to the edge of your belt and press so that you make a perfect template of exactly the positioning of holes. Then move the paper down with the edge lined up to she of your belt. Place the paper over the last two thumbtacks yo keep it stable then use a pen to mark out the spots on the paper where the thumbtacks made holes. (I hope this all made sense). Now you know exactly there the new holes should be! I made these marks on the underside of the belt but you do not have to. Then I took a utility knife and twisted it around and around over the pen mark till it just whet through the belt. This did not make the hole I wanted but it did go through to make a pinpoint on the good side of the belt so I knew exactly where to make my holes. But you can just use the template paper to mark your holes with pen on the good side. Just of course be careful not to slip and make an off mark, especially if the belt is light color. The process was actually easy and kinda fun!

Did not work for me.
Bought to punch holes through two layers of cotton fabric plus batting. It just did not work.Maybe cotton fabric is just too different from leather(?). Anyhow, might be great with leather, fabric- not so much!

Great tactical pen
This was sturdy. So much value for the money. Be careful the tip is super sharp. I carry it everywhere. You will not be sorry on this purchase. All metal case. Disassembles easily. Writes great as well.

Dull out of the package, poor quality, dulls even more after one punch.
I'd give it a zero if I could. Junk set, not worth the money. Total waste of money and time. The metal is soft, or dulls rapidly before punching it's first hole the metal rounded to dull. I was determined to get this small project completed. I punched one hole, not completely through, mind you, and it was dull immediately. Don't blame the dulling on hard surfaces. I used my Olfa quilting cutting mat the first punch... so, because it dulled immediately and left a circle imprint on the mat, I thought maybe that mat was too hard, so I switched to a soft pine piece of wood. (a normal non painted fingernail could leave a mark in this wood) . The punch dulled again, didn't cut through the leather completely but but did leave a full circle imprint in the wood! I then tried using a drill, while that worked much better, it never punched completely through the leather. I made a lengthy trip to Michaels, and spent $10 on an Art Minds Mini punch set... it's a nice kit. (super sharp and the different hole sizes are like bits that screw into a much larger handle which makes it easy to hold and use) I was able to do what I wanted in 5 minutes what took me over an hour to try to do with this junk. Save yourself a lot of grief... don't buy this one. Save your sanity, do not purchase this junk set... opt instead and purchase the Art Minds or any other quality brand.

Works OK
The largest punch is OK but I would have liked one just a little larger.
