I waited to post so that I could try the product over several months. It melts with a few rubs of the fingers and absorbs well. It provides very good moisturizing. Customer service is excellent. The first scent I tried was the ylang-ylang. This scent is just not strong enough to cover the raw shea smell, and I nor my mother could tolerate it. We were offered and sent some other samples. There were some other scents that did much better (such as lavender and lemongrass). Although I add other lotions to my skin if wanting a "perfumed" effect, this shea butter is still very worthwhile for the moisturizing.

I normally love the scent of ylang ylang, but in my opinion it doesnt translate well when mixed with the shea butter. I hope the company will consider maybe sandalwood, amber or Egyptian musk fragrances. the product is of great quality. I stand by the Synergistic Living products. I will continue purchasing the Patchouli version or maybe experience with a different fragrance with Synergistic Living. The shae butter is great for me and my husband.

I have oily skin but this winter even my oily skin developed many dry patches. I have been using it for last 4 days and surprised to see the difference it made. Not only it eliminated dry patches, my skin looks supple and radiant too.I contacted seller (Julie and Mark) to find out if they have mini sizes available because I wanted to sample few fragrances before I commit to 16oz size. Julie and Mark were very kind to send few generous size samples for free.Effective product and amazing customer service- I can't ask for more!

This is no doubt one of my favorite products. The fragrance is lovely and soft.
