IF-ITVV-CFFY Phone Power Broadband Telephone Service VoIP Phone and Device

Had bought this a long time ago, but could not use it at the time due to having Frontier as the DSL provider. When cable came in, then installed this. Sound quality excellent, and have been using it now for a few months and have no complaints.

I already use this company at home and wanted to add service for my mother-in-law in California. So, I ordered this kit from Amazon so that she would own the equipment and because Amazon could have it to me quickly. Here is what I liked: 1 First, you cannot beat the quality of the phone service. The phone works, the voice quality is excellent, I can call anywhere in the United States and Canada and it only costs me about $10 a month. 2. The unit that they sent connected quickly after I created an online account and my new phone number was active within 5 minutes. 3. They included all of the necessary cables to get everything up and running! No need to run out and purchase an additional necessary cable. 4. You have complete flexibility to block calls, forward calls, voice mail, and lots more!What I did not like: 1. The rebate coupon is NOT included. You need to have access to a printer to print it out and mail it in. I think they should just give you a credit on the phone bill or include the rebate form in the box.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to cut their phone bills without cutting the quality of their phone service.

When I called Power Phone, I was told that particular brand of remote would not work with their system. I also submitted model and serial numbers and was told they weren't on the authorized list.

I am having phonepower service currently. I have two different brand cordless set connected to two lines. The call quality is great, however the service is not reliable. I am not very pleased with the interface setting up call forwarding/simultaneous ringing through web interface. Very confusing and not straight forward. I donot want to have a primary phonepower service. I am not going to renew after 2 year service. Almost every month I see phonepower techincal difficulties such as (out of service for 30 mins or can't dial toll free numbers). I don't like this kinda interruption. Otherwise, I stayed an hour long interview and then stayed hour long outgoing call and recieved long calls all worked backed to back fine with crystal clear call quality. I have downstream(30mbps) and upstream(3mbps) any given point which is exceptionally good for decent call quality. I will go back to viatalk which is more reliable than phonepower. I would not recommend phonepower right at this time, let them polish up their quality and then worth trying.

I use my own device (phone terminal). They constantly make changes to their service so that something that works today in terms of network setup, might not work tomorrow.For example, our answering machine feature does not work, and it remains unsolved to this day (contacted them quite a few times), forwarding of voice messages to an email, network settings that worked for months they claim are wrong when complained about not receiving calls or calls being dropped but we did not make changes to the network or the router. These are only a few examples but there were many different occurrences.Customer support tries to be supportive and it is usually available online and over the phone, this is why I gave them 3 stars.I also had an activation credit issue and spent close to 1 hour and a half and had multiple calls to have the issue resolved.I cannot compare their service to others' so that this rating is only based on the direct experience with this company.

Phone Power is Awesome and works flawlessly the online site allows you to customize how your phone works. It even allows you home phone to ring 4 times (26 seconds) then forwards to another number (I use my cell). All of your voice mails are e-mailed to you and you can listen to them where ever you are.

Do you want exceptional phone service for minimal cost, then switch to PowerPhone. It costs pennies per day for unlimited US and Canadian calls, and $1.00 per day for unlimited international calling. The calls are of exceptional quality, so overall this is the best phone service I have ever had.

The rating is for the product only.After having the same landline phone service for many years, we decided to switch to an internet phone service. My daughter had been using the Phone Power service and recommended it, so we bought it and had our phone number switched. The service works well, and I particularly like having the ability to block calls from unwanted callers. I already had Magic Jack on another number, and I was out of ports on my router. That was easily fixed by adding a switch to the router. The only problem we had was that we bought Phone Power from Amazon, but when we contacted Phone Power to set up our service we had to pay for it again. They said they would issue a credit for the double payment, which they did. But the credit they gave us was a not a credit on the credit card used to buy the product, but a credit with Phone Power which can't be used anywhere else. We prepaid for a year of service, so we can use it for more service next year. This sounds like a crazy and not the least bit transparent procedure. We should not have had to pay Phone Power for a product we had already bought from Amazon.
