Nicer Than Expected
These Japanese-styled shuriken are exceptionally designed for both throwing and handheld striking. Their beveled points are longer than one finds on other throwing spikes. Best of all, they are hefty in weight and diameter. Unfortunately, they are not Prime eligible so be prepared to wait three weeks or so to receive them.

Throwing spikes. Amazing.
I'm still trying to break one. Still no luck. I have caught a few because they bounced back, but even in the hardest of wood, they've never broken.I can usually break most blades within a month if I honestly try. These throwing spikes are definitely going in my nephew's and a couple of niece's stockings this Christmas.

Best throwing darts I've ever had. Simple, cheap, but great.
Okay, I almost never leave a product review... But I have to say, these are fantastic throwing darts. I've had hundreds over the past 25 years, and they always bend, break, or just suck. However, I love the balance and feel of these. I'm ordering more!

Solid shuriken
The shuriken spikes I have used so far have all been home-made, so I wasn't sure what to expect from these. I will admit that I haven't had a chance to throw them yet, but I can say that their composition and dimensions are perfect. They fit into the hand nicely, are not too thick, and have a very solid weight to them, which I really like. The grooves give them a much better grip than they would otherwise have, which gives you more feel and control for throwing as well as enhancing their use as supplemental close combat weapons. The tips are very pointed though not sharp, and the three edges are unsharpened. That is the only thing I didn't like. But I expect they can be sharpened easily enough. These shuriken come ready for practice on tatami mats, but for actual use as weapons, they require some sharpening. I am very pleased with these shuriken, and will be buying several more sets.

Great quality
The very first time that I threw these today I immediately ordered another set in black! I use both the torpedo spikes and the classic spikes, and these landed with such satisfying authority that I just had to make sure that I had more. Also, the sheath is the first sign of quality, which is markedly different than a lot of other sets that I've purchased. The actual spikes are very well made and really feel like they will stand the test of time. Amazing all around - very satisfied!

Very fun
They stay straight and sharp despite heavy abuse. Perfect for no-spin but if youre new to it i would start with something big like a machete or large screwdriver and work your way down. its actually easier to throw two at once because of the weight. a cheaper proxy would be yard sale butter knives, especially if youre so new theres a risk of missing your target completely and possibly losing them in the ground. theyre steel, not aluminum, so not totally weightless. definitely worth the price

Awesome Buy, but a bit Fragile.
This product is absolutely fantastic. the flight quality is smooth and they are not heavy, meaning the overall feel of holding them and throwing them is not clunky. the only downside I can see to these is if you are just beginning to get into throwing weapons. as they are not quite like a throwing knife, the handling needed to learn how to throw them is somewhere between knives and standard darts. if you are not careful, the tips will bend very easily, and I have already managed to bend the tips of two out of the three, though they still work fine. however, for those who know how to throw these properly, they are an absolute must to add to your collection of throwing implements.

Very nice will buy more soon.
Weighted nicely good durability they don't bend as easily as other quills. The only two problems I have are the grooves not machined properly and they are a little loose in the sheath still 5 stars because they throw really well.
