Yes, this eye cream really works
This is a light formula with a mild scent that doesn't irritate your eyes. Apply day and night then you should see under eye puffiness decrease. Works well with concealer and make up. Yes, I will buy this again.

Compare ingredients carefully with other renewal treatments
We always recommend consulting your dermatologist first before undertaking a new skincare regimen. In these uncertain times, a bit of pampering is well deserved. If you try emailing your dermatologist you will likely get a prompt response. This one includes hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium hyaluronate. It is well regarded to smooth and hydrate skin, helping to reduce the signs of aging. Sodium hyaluronate, known as the “salt of the acid,” is also effective to treat joint pain caused by arthritis. The challenge with most skincare products with Hyaluronic Acid is knowing just how much you are getting. Drugstore brands often provide a modest .25 percent while products with at least 1% provide clinically proven benefits. However, this Pause product lists Sodium hyaluronate far down the list of ingredients.Although skincare companies are not required to list the percentage of this wonderful active ingredient (and most don’t) , my wife and I both trust companies that are up front about the percentage. At this very premium price equaling $104 an ounce at the time of this review, we suggest also considering similar alternatives.Although Pause Eye Renewal Treatment's included ingredients such as butylene glycol are generally well tolerated, there have been reports of uncommon reactions to phenoxyethanol being quite rarely linked to eczema and strong allergic reactions. Phenoxyethanol use is often strongly discouraged by safe cosmetics advocates to be used around infants including those who are breast feeding. While the target market for this product is not young mothers, grandmothers love to hug their grandbabies and studies indicate this preservative should be avoided around the youngest of children. Those who wish to learn more and make the best personal decision regarding this ingredient may consider doing an online search for “phenoxyethanol safety.” Given this uncertainty, this is one reason why it is always important to consult your dermatologist first.

Lightweight So I Usually Use Cream After, Seems To Address Fine Lines, May Be Helping Dark Circles
Pause Renewal Eye Treatment is formulated to improve “the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines.” This product is white with a lightweight almost gel texture. I use just one pump for both eyes, and apply it under my eyes and on my eyelids (as directed). My skin absorbs it quickly. Puffiness isn’t an issue for me, but I do have fine lines easily addressed by a good eye serum. My main issue is chronic dark circles, which I’ve had as long as I can remember. I’ve tried many products and only a few help, and none ever get rid of the need for a good concealer.I’ve been using Pause daily for a couple weeks, mostly for my dark circles. I usually look worse trying new eye products as I stop what works best for me. My dark circles don’t look worse while using Pause instead of my usual products, and subjectively I think my eye area looks a little brighter so my dark circles look slightly less noticeable. As I’d expect, I still need my eye concealer. But I like the effect enough to keep using the product and see if I get more improvement over time. I’ll update if it becomes my “go to” dark circle product.I don’t notice my fine lines when using Pause, which is a good thing. It isn’t greasy and doesn’t affect my makeup application. While I don’t find it drying, Pause is lightweight and I prefer more hydration. So, while I‘ve used Pause alone, I prefer adding my eye cream after applying Pause and using it more like a serum. If someone in my age range is seeking to use Pause alone in lieu of eye cream, there’s a good chance it won’t moisturize enough (unless someone prefers a very light product). Pause doesn’t irritate the delicate skin around my eyes, and I’ll keep using it to see if my dark circles improve more. Like it. 4 stars.

Drying
As I near 60, my biggest problem area in terms of aging skin is around my eyes. I've always been cursed with dark circles, but now I'm starting to get that weird puffy crinkly skin that nothing seems to remedy or arrest. I've cycled through quite a few eye treatments and matters only seem to be getting worse. Honestly, I've pretty much given up hope.I decided to give the Pause brand Eye Renewal a try because I use their Complete Face Serum and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, this did not live up to my expectations. The consistency is thin (as with most products specifically targeted at the eyes) and it has the same slightly tart, citrusy fragrance as the serum. It's easy to apply and absorbs pretty quickly. Unfortunately, after a short while the area underneath my eyes felt extremely dry, tight and itchy. I couldn't stop rubbing them - which everyone knows only exacerbates stretched, crepe-y skin. Since this was the only new product I'd used on that particular evening, as well as the only thing I'd applied directly under my eyes, I have no doubt it was the culprit. I opted to cease using it immediately.I suspect this contains something that causes a reaction in my skin although I've never experienced sensitivity before and nothing on the ingredient list jumped out at me as particularly unusual. I do think Pause is a reputable company that makes quality products so don't let my experience with their Eye Renewal Treatment put your off their line.
