What can I say ? I absolutely love this radio...it's so cute and it picks up stations amazingly well. I am very pleased with my purchase. Just what I was looking for.

Yes, this is a cheap (some would say chinzy) radio but it is just PERFECT for my very specific needs. I was not looking for booming sound quality. I wasn't looking to break the windows of my neighbors' house or even to hear the layered quality of a Mozart concerto. I just wanted a little portable radio to play in the bathroom while I was in the shower and getting ready. Yes, it is likely the plastic "chrome" knobs will chip, and yes, it will not be a family heirloom, but the retro style looks adorable and I get my morning news and background music for an extremely cheap price.I purchased two because my new house (built in 1966) has a full bath in the hallway and a half bath off what I guess would be called the "master bedroom." I like that it has a cord but also works with batteries. I use the cord to preserve the batteries in case there is a power failure or a natural disaster. Although I wouldn't classify myself as a doomsday prepper (unlike my sister who has a garage full of enough astronaut diapers, airlocked canisters of coffee, non-electric appliances, a fuel generator, and Meals Ready To Eat to feed an army battlion), I do come from Southern California which means earthquakes and fire storms. So compared to my sister's battery powered NOAA/HAM radio system which cost more than my house in Ohio, I feel confident that this little cheap radio just may come in handy. If anything, the cute retro styling will intrigue the zombies during the apocalypse. ; )Hope this review helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Bought this to take into work. I like listening to the radio while at work but that doesn't mean my entire office does, so I love that it has a headphone jack. The speaker sound quality isn't too bad either. I love that it's small so it doesn't take up too much of my desk, but it's still cute so it looks like decor. Looks exactly like the photos!I checked with another person in the building with a radio (a pretty fancy one at that), and they get about the same amount of channels as me, so I think the range is pretty typical for a radio.It has both auxillary and battery power. I keep it plugged in at my desk but I also like the idea of having a battery powered radio just in case of an emergency. I haven't tested the battery life yet, but it takes 4 AA so I imagine a good amount of timeAs far as I'm concerned, it's the perfect little radio. But there are a few cons:-I didn't need/want anything with Bluetooth but if you do, this wouldn't be the radio for you.-it is a thinner plastic. Not super rugged. Doesn't feel super high quality when holding it-the dial is a physical dial, so you'll have to rotate it to get to your channels. I just marked the channels I listen to with a felt pen and called it a day, but if you're hunting for certain numbers, it could be a pain.-the headphones are a little quiet, I find myself turning the volume up to 75(ish)% when I want to listen to a song (as opposed to background noise)-its a very small radio, so it can only be so loud. Great for a house or office, but not necessarily the best for larger/louder venues

I actually purchased it to put in my chicken coop. The girls love to listen to "something", particularly when winter bites cold and they are sequestered within the hen house with nothing to distract them. It takes their attention off the isolation and helps make the days seem better. The radio we originally had finally died, and toward then end, it wasn't getting many stations at all, maybe one or two, but to be fair, we are a rural setting, located pretty far from civilization. This one gained another three options to select from and they decided upon a Christian station for its uplifting messages and wholesome music (: It's not too small, priced within their allowance for egg production and has a decently clear speaker. We are all happy with the purchase and the girls endorsed the five-cluck rating approval (: Thanks again.

We bought these radios as bingo prizes for a senior citizen Christmas party . I had to take them out of the package to see if they worked . Thankfully they both did but one had a small crack where you dial in the station. Still plan on taking them but disappointed that they couldn’t be displayed in their original box

I had a CC Radio for years but they had too much stuff on it and I got tired of trying to find the station I was listening to.This radio is much better. All I have to do is just turn it on. No fancy gadgets. If you want to take it outside the USA you will need an adapter. But this is the best radio I had. I listen to radio while I sleep and with the earphones (Not included).

Mine didn't work on battery power, but I plan to keep it plugged in.The 1950's fake shortwave band markings are funny, although "Saint Petersburg" is kind of an anachronism.I glued the dial to one station and left it plugged in, and it's good enough for that. Your needs may differ. Oh, and it's cute. Thats important

I got this as a gift for a co-worker. It is so cute and looks like a real antique. He keeps on his desk and even with all the electronics in our office, it gets great reception. Picks up all kinds of stations and the volume is easily adjusted to perfection. Need a gift, this is it.
