I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD
I've never owned a mechanical keyboard before and although I do game I do not use my keyboard for gaming. I use a Chroma Razer Orbweaver & Naga which the Orbweaver uses Razer's own preparatory mechanical keys. Anyways I was in the market for a keyboard that offered LED multi color back lighting, a mini keyboard (60% size), black in color, and wired as I really don't like using a wireless or Bluetooth keyboards for the pc I game on.I originally bought the Adesso SlimTouch 110 for the reasons listed above. That keyboard is absolute dog sh!t and I do not recommend buying it. I then reluctantly opted to buy the Jelly Comb Universal Backlit keyboard which is Bluetooth wireless and was also a pile of dog sh!t.After much frustration and about to give up I stumbled upon 3 different mechanical mini (60%) keyboards; the KBP v60, the Poker, and the third I cant remember the name. All of which met the specs except that they were all mechanical keyboards. I wasn't really wanting a mechanical keyboard because they were so expensive and I honestly don't type enough to warrant buying one.Anyways I did some research on mechanical keyboards and to learn what the difference was between each of the Cherry keys; afterwards I choose to go with the MX Clears. The proper way would have been to order a sample keyboard for $15 and test each type of key but I was pretty confident from the youtube vids and the amount of pressure at which I type that the Brown's or Clear's would be sufficient for my needs. So this lead me to decide to go with this keyboard. I am literally blown away at how accurate and fluid typing on this thing is. It's so amazing I actually look forward to typing now lol and I don't particularly like typing any more than I have to. My only regret is not buying a mechanical keyboard sooner but I didn't do so because I thought they were mainly beneficial for gaming and not normal everyday typing. The LED lighting is perfect for what I wanted. I wanted to be able to run Red or Green at the bare minimum which this keyboard does and does very well. I want to say that I've read several reviews that the LED breathing effect doesn't work on these. I can't speak for others but the LED breathing effect works perfect on my keyboard. The only negative/complaint I have about this keyboard is the lack of default Arrow keys. You have to use FN + Arrow to use them and none of the dip switches allow you to change them. I would have loved for this keyboard to allow us to use the dip switches to swap out the bottom right keys (Shift, Win, Menu, & Ctrl) to support the standard default Arrow keys as I've never use the bottom right keys anyways for their default function. I'm not sure if the manufacture can write a firmware to allow this or not as I'm not an engineer but that would literally make this keyboard perfect. One final comment I decided to go with this model over the other two brands due to price. I didn't feel like spending another $75 just to have more colors to swap from as the only color I really wanted was Red.EDIT: I just tested the FN+Return Key combo and it WORKS :) so now the bottom right keys "Shift, Ctrl, Menu, & Win" keys are now active arrow keys. This keyboard ROCKS!!! Oh and one more thing when you toggle on the arrow keys using FN+Return it does not turn on the FN layers for the other keys you can still use the default layer and use the FN key for the second layer. I hope that makes sense. I also just noticed that when you toggle FN+Return to turn on the Arrow keys, the right Shift key lights up much like the CAPs lock key light to inform you its on.EDIT: I loved this keyboard so much I purchased a 2nd one for my other work station. Unfortunately the 2nd keyboard has had issues with the "O" and "L" keys not working properly. I requested a return in hopes to get an exchange as I figured I just happen to get a lemon but the seller is no longer selling any of these keyboards :(However, I was able to find this same keyboard and many others at https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/ for the same price. So after I make my return for a refund I will go there to order my replacement. My original keyboard works perfect still after nearly 2 months of use. Once you go mechanical you will never go back. The only complaint about using them is the noise, these keyboards are loud as hell and I heard that even with the noise cushions that it doesn't help all that much and it degrades the quality of the typing experience. A silent keyboard would be perfect.
