Bought this kit to replace worn spikes in my Foot-Joys. The old spikes were difficult to remove, due to dirt in the socket. Most were able to be removed with the tool provided. Some had to be pried out with a screwdriver (carefully!). Installing the new spikes was easier, but you have to use quite a bit of strength to get the all-important second "click" that locks the spike in place. Overall, the spikes look good, and are still solidly in place after the first 18 holes. The tools work as they should, provided you put some muscle into it.

The spikes are awesome, would highly records as a replacement. Better traction felt on the course immediately but also easy on the legs and knees when walking along concrete or path. Only 4 starts cause to be fair the tools provided with the set are rather difficult to use to remove old spikes. Installation was rather simply however. Overall a pretty effective product.

Glad that the spike kit had the wrench & adapter for the soft spike removal & attachment !I ran both shoes under hot water to eliminate dirt & grass ! Also, sprayed W-D 40 on each spike removing ! This allowed me to remove & replace new spikes! Note: I put liquid silicone on the connection points of each spike being replaced ! This should make it easier to remove next time !!!

Cleat Ripper tool was able to get worn out cleats removed much better than standard 2 hole tool. Tool requires considerable downforce pressure, but gets the job done.

My spikes were worn right down to the sole of the shoe. There would have been no way to grab the remaining rubber unless I had the tools that came with the spikes. With a little elbow grease, it was effortless to screw off on what ever was left. In case it makes a difference, I have Footjoys. As an afterthought I should have taken a before and after picture.

Package arrived already open and missing some of the cleats. The installation tool was also missing. It looked like the package had been cut open with the razor blade. I’m not returning it as I need new cleats and I have ring pliers to install the new cleats. Packages should be examined before shipping to customers. Very disappointing.
