Kanu Surf Men's Fiji UPF 50+ Short Sleeve Sun Protective Rashguard Swim Shirt

Just used this for a week in Costa Rica and it was terrific. Protected me from that harsh sun.I'm 5' 10" and 160 pounds and ordered medium. Yes it fits tight. It's supposed to be a second skin. If you've ever jumped into the surf with a too-large rash guard and had the shirt bunch up at your armpits you'll appreciate this second skin.I expected tight and got tight.

I am 6'6" tall and weigh 220 lbs. I have a 46" chest and a 36" waist. I usually wear an XL. Sometimes, depending on the company I can wear a Large with no problem. I ordered the XXL based upon other reviews stating that it was very tight fitting. They were right, it was very tight across the chest. I laid the shirt flat on a table and measured across the chest. It was just shy of 22". If you have a 44" chest it will fit skin tight. I had plenty of room in the waist. It's too bad because I really liked the style and the material is very nice also. It's just not for me. If your chest is larger than 44" I would not order this shirt. I can't nock the shirt. It is meant to fit snugly and the quality appears to be very good. I just don't have the correct proportions for it. I hope this helps.

The way the rating is setup forced me to rate it lower. I don't like the fit therefore my experience with this product is okay. In Swimming - the shirt pucks or bunches up.The product itself without my connection to it is likely a 4.5. I would suggest the purchase of this product to anyone.I ordered my size based on the suggestions of other reviews. I should have ordered a size smaller than what I would typically wear.Order one size smaller than what you'd normally wear for a snug fit. I order the size i would typically wear and there is too much room in the shoulders and sides.

If you have an athletic build but don't want to get burned while on beach or in the ocean, this is for you. It fits really snug so once you get in the water, it is a wet t-shirt contest winner. Much better than a t-shirt, this comes up to protect your neck and the sleeves are long enough to strain against your biceps. I wore this for snorkeling so my back didn't get scorched. It has a UPF of 50 and protected me well. It never rode up, it stayed in place no matter what I did. You might need a partner to help you remove it later, but even if you have to strip it off yourself the fabric is strong, stretchy, and not likely to tear. Very comfortable in and out of the water. Wife says this is the bomb. Three thumbs up!For sizing, I am 5' 10" and 180lbs with 44" chest and 32" waist. The Large is snug around my upper body and just fits my waist when dry, once wet it turns into cling film. It does dry quickly out of the water. Large was perfect fit for me.

This is my second rash guard and it is as good as the first. I like how quickly they dry and how comfortable they are when they're on. It doesn't get weighed down when swimming and keeps me protected from the sun. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some added protection, I will be going back for more.

I bought this for my husband, he was wanting grey to avoid the dim and ding that comes with white. My husband normally can wear a medium shirt but I purchased large as these shirts normally fit a little snug and we are not in our prime anymore...who want's to be self conscious when they are enjoying themselves (no one). This shirt is the slim fit so it is a little tighter in the waist. Great for swimming because it doesn't ride up.

I bought and returned several different brands of this kind of shirt prior to a beach trip last year. This white Kanu Surf shirt is the only one I kept. It seemed to fit better than any of the others. The size (L) seemed to better match what I think of that size - I'm the pure definition of a grown-up male tweener and it is frequently hard for me to find a shirt that fits/looks good on me. This shirt is white, since discolored to more of an ivory shade. In the past 10 months I've had it, I beat the hell out of that thing. It gets beer, ketchup, salt, sand, sunscreen, crumbs, you name it, ALL over it. Yet there is no "stain" on it, just that ivory color. I still wear it. The best review a company can get is repeat business, I just bought three more for the upcoming summer. It works for me.

These are fitted like I read in other reviews so they are a true fit and do not run large. The material is stretchy so there is some “give” room. I think it is a great value for the price. The package arrived in a few days so it was fairly quick to ship.

I originally purchased a large size but had to return it... and then I got a XL size and it fit a lot better.This Rashguard is pretty good quality, material is not that stretchy, and it slightly thicker than a t-shirt.I also find the material a little stratchy and could be softer material, but its fine with me for my use.I find the size smaller than I anticipated even after searching for a Kanu size chart online. The large was pretty tight on me. With a 43" chest and 33 waist. I didn't like the restrictive look and tightness around the stomach. The XL was a lot loser. Maybe a bit too lose around the arm area.... but I would not feel embarrassed to wear it out now.

I love this water shirt. It actually exceeded my expectations. It fits snugly but not so tight that you feel you're being squeezed. It's perfect in the water because there's isn't all that excess fabric. It stays on nicely. I wear a medium everything and this medium size fit perfectly. The blue colour I got was really nice. I felt really good in it and felt I looked good too which is a nice combo. I added a photo of me wearing it last weekend (I just got out of the water).

I bought this XXL because that's usually the rashguard size that fits me, but I think XL would have been better in this case. Other than this, this is a very good quality rashguard that doesn't feel cheap at all and I might even get another later this year.

I usually wear a size large and I ordered a size large. Comfortable fit not too tight and not too loose. High collar for a little more neck protection. Shirt is long so good for tucking in shorts for everyday use with the SPF protection.

La compré más grande de mi talla porque no soy fan de lo que queda súper entallado, pero aún pensando en eso la playera no se mueve prácticamente nada aún haciendo actividad física de mucho movimiento. Se seca súper rápido.
