Amazing
I have been a hairdresser for 18 years, this product is AMAZING! I suggest it for my clients (and i use it myself on my own hair) that have an ashy shadow root. When their roots grow in if they can’t get to me for a touch up in timeI suggest this spray! I advise them to spray it on the root in a sweeping motion to blend in their natural root to their grown out ashy shadow root. It’s amazing.

Love this!
I have dark purple hair and I absolutely love this dry shampoo. It gives me some volume without being sticky. Freshens up my roots in both color and (apparent) cleanliness. So many dry shampoos look white once applied but this doesn’t at all! Love this product and have it on subscribe and save.

Great temporary hair color
I have short (chin-length) blonde, highlighted hair and was looking for a temporary color that would not stain my hair - this product delivered. Just as it say on the can, the color is buildable - you can go for pale pink or apply more for a more vibrant color. It's also very easy to apply and control the location of the color if you're doing "accents".It washes out easily - one shower did the trick for me. I washed my hair twice and there was absolutely no lingering color. I used a lot in certain areas and have very light hair. In fact, the first time I used it was immediately after my highlights were done (when the hair is more porous) and I was concerned about staining. It did not. This product stays in well and does not transfer to hands, appliances (flatiron), brushes, combs, clothing or pillow cases. I left it in once for four days and experienced only very slight fading. If we were only basing it on looks, I'd give this product five stars. However, the texture it imparts to the hair and the smell are pretty serious downsides. I'm not sure how a product that goes on dry can make hair sticky, but that's what this stuff does. It makes my hair difficult to comb through - I couldn't imagine trying to use it all over my head or as an actual "dry shampoo".The smell is simply awful. After I spray a bit on I have to leave the bathroom. Honestly, I would do it outside if I had a mirror set up. And the smell lingers as long as it's on your hair. For me, this is not a deal breaker because I'm more concerned about the look - I'm also not sensitive to smells and no one else has complained about the smell.I also don't think this product is a great value. On my short hair, only doing a few sections, I get maybe 2 - 3 uses out of a can.Overall, if you want some nice pink temporary color that's easy to use and easy to get out, I would definitely recommend. If strong smells are a deal breaker for you, find something else. Additionally, I would absolutely not recommend using this as a dry shampoo because of the weird texture it imparts to the hair and the fact that regular use could get pretty costly.

Smells horrible
This stuff smells so bad that I had to wash it out of my hair within two hours of the first (and only) use. I literally just finished washing my hair and I can still smell it.It also kind of stains your skin. Normal dry shampoo has to be worked into the roots with your hands and it does leave a little residue but it rinses off without any soap. I had to wash my hands twice and scrub my finger tips to get this off.If you’ve ever used that wash out temporary hair color spray, that’s basically what this is, just less pigmented. Also, the shade wasn’t very nice either (I have purple hair, so I got purple) it was just kind of a weird shade of purple. Something between Barney and grape soda. It might be perfect for someone else, though.Honestly, if it didn’t smell so horrible, the other issues wouldn’t have been a deal breaker. I probably could have made it work in a pinch.Long story short, if I could return this item I would. In fact, I tried but it’s non-returnable and I can’t seem to get a refund otherwise. So, that’s $22 going directly into the trash :(

Gets the job done, at a cost...
I have permanently dyed pink hair and wanted this as a refresh that wouldn't fade my hair like traditional dry shampoos that leave me looking chalky. Well, I got the color. It was vibrant and gorgeous. HOWEVER, the industrial spray-paint stench made me worry for my lungs' health. Then there was the texture. Sticky weird clammy feeling texture that left much to be desired. And washing it out was an ordeal. Did it mask my dirty oily hair and make it look cute? YES. Would I use this on a regular basis? NOPE. I'm reserving this for hair emergencies only. LOL.

Color? Yes. Shampoo? No
I religiously dye my hair purple and I will go as long as possible without washing to prevent fading, so I do rely heavily on dry shampoo. I remember having tried this product a couple of years ago and now I remember why i stopped. It does add a touch of color but my hair looks and feels more oily than it did before using it and the buildup it leaves behind make my scalp itchy which then makes my fingernails purple when I scratch. Great concept but I think I'll stick with the regular stuff.

Awesome
this is the best dry shampoo I have ever used on my dark hair. I love it the charcoal really absorbs any extra oil. It is my favorite I highly recommend it.

A true pink
I use this in my blonde hair for a temporary color and it’s gorgeous. It’s more of a true pink on my hair than rose gold like the conditioner from the same brand I’ve used in the past but it’s pretty and it’s and it lets me go an extra day or two in between washing so no complaints!
